Welcome to my new home on the web!

For various reasons, I've decided to essentially walk away from my previous blog and start up a new one. I was feeling the need to be more discrete or anonymous. In fact, just this morning I saw on the news where criminals are trolling sites like Facebook and Twitter to look for easy targets, for everything from scams to outright robbery. Also, since I'm in the process of finding myself a new job, I would like to maintain more of a low-profile web presence. For the time being, my previous blog will still be around as more of a reference point for myself, but I won't be posting there.

No worries, though - I'll be sharing the same type of content regarding my domestic ramblings and whatnot, and you're always welcome to share your thoughts. You can still expect to find updates on what I've been up to, especially in the kitchen. But, you won't find any full names of people or places, as a part of my effort to be anonymous and protect both myself and my readers. For example, I have friends who are teachers, and they would rather not be "found" on the internet by their students (or the students' parents).

Since I welcome your thoughts, and do want to encourage conversation, there is an email address off to the side. Feel free to email me with any of your thoughts or questions. If I ever reference an event or a place that you might be interested in, just shoot me a note and we can talk more "off line".
